It...A Tlayuda is no where near a Mexican pizza. It's closer to a toasted tortilla of sorts or a tostada if you will. I think people compare it to a pizza for lack of a better comparison. The Tlayuda goes way back to indigenous people who are far removed from the idea of a 'pizza'.
